A friend of mine today told me she loved these photos and I figured now is the appropriate time to reveal these photos to the world. These photos were taken about two years ago at Afropunk Festival. I was watching Janelle Monae in concert and as she was singing the song "Smile" these young men climbed up on a trailer next to the stage and started dancing to the song in their own interpretation. They were dancing against the sunset and I felt like this was a very special moment, to see them celebrate such a special song and also knowing that life keeps going on. In this moment now this song has a special meaning in my life, since some changes are happening and well I have to smile. Its the only way to move forward in this life. And I share this moment with you also, so just smile, for me and for you .
